Institutional backing for our EIS Fund

We can proudly announce that the British Business Bank has committed £1million to Angel Academe to co-invest alongside our EIS Fund in deals selected by our angel investors.

Our EIS Fund, the UK's first for female founders, is run in partnership with our Fund Managers, SyndicateRoom.

This is a huge step towards moving the dial for female founders and closing the gender investment gap. As BBI’s Senior Investment Manager, Nancy Liu, says:

“Female founders remain significantly underfunded and the British Business Bank aims to unlock potential across the UK by ensuring diverse entrepreneurs have access to finance.“

“The partnership with Angel Academe will help address this disparity whilst supporting the development of high growth smaller businesses across the UK.”
